Sounds like: A pure, deep sub-bass tone: felt more than heard.
As plain as a bass patch gets on purpose — a single clean sine, no harmonic content, no movement. All the character comes from the notes played, not the patch.
Open this patch in the interactive PatchpadALGO 1 with only Operator C active and no modulator level at all gives a pure, unmodulated sine — the whole point of this patch is that no other FM/filter/effects settings should color it. ALGO 1 routes operator A (and B) into carrier C, so LEV (A) and LEV (B) are set to 0 on SYN page 2 and MIX is -64 (the X output, C only): that leaves C a plain, unmodulated carrier.
SY RAW's WAV1 has a genuine plain sine among its six real waveforms, so this is a direct match — no need to approximate. MODE must be ADSR for the Sustain to hold.
As simple as this patch gets on any synth here — Summit's Sine wave, a fully open Filter, and a plain Amp Envelope with no other page touched.
Osc 1 is SuperWave used as a clean sine: Detune and the copies' volume are both 0, so it is a single sine wave. Everything downstream is deliberately left inert — no LFO, no Mod Matrix, no effects. Values are on MiniFreak's native 0-100 scale.
Typhon's WAVE knob has no dedicated pure-sine position — the roundest labeled point on its blend is the closest real equivalent, and some extra harmonic content versus the FM/digital synths here is expected and fine.
A direct, uncomplicated translation — Hydrasynth's Sine waveform, a wide-open Filter 1, and Envelope 2 (pre-wired to Amp) with a full Sustain.
This is the intentional 'nothing fancy' baseline bass — useful as a reference point and as the actual sound for minimal productions where restraint is the point.
