A rhythmic, percussive chord stab built from a wide four-note chord run through the arpeggiator at a fast rate with a very short gate: each note is clipped almost instantly, so it reads as a stabbing pulse rather than a flowing melodic run.

MODE UP with RANGE 2 spreads it across two octaves, and the very short N.LEN (12) clips each note almost instantly, so the arpeggio reads as a rapid stab pulse rather than a run. Zero SUS and a fast AMP DEC reinforce the percussive close. ALGO 1 routes operator A (and B) into carrier C, so LEV (A) and LEV (B) are set to 0 on SYN page 2 and MIX is -64 (the X output, C only): that leaves C a plain, unmodulated carrier.
Syntakt has no general per-track arpeggiator; SY CHIP's built-in note-cycling stands in. OF2/OF3/OF4 (fifth, octave, tenth) build the wide four-note chord against TUNE's root, and DEC kept short gives the same clipped stab as N.LEN on the other machines. SPD syncs the cycling rate to the sequencer.

Osc 1 is BasicWaves with Morph at 50 (pure sawtooth): the Morph knob runs from a square (0) through a sawtooth (50) to a double sawtooth an octave up (100), Sym only changes the pulse width below 50, and Sub adds a sine an octave down (0 here). Gate 15% keeps every arpeggiated note extremely short and stab-like. Values are on MiniFreak's native 0-100 scale.
Typhon has no arpeggiator, but it has a real note sequencer (SQNCR button: 1 to 32 steps over a 6-octave range, with per-step octave, note, gate, velocity, plus probability, division and swing). Program the pattern's notes directly instead of holding a chord. A very short GATE gives the same clipped stab as the other synths' short arp gate. The Filter and Amp ADSR and the front-panel settings shape each note.
Hold [SHIFT]+[ON] to enter Arp Edit mode. Mode Up with Octave Mode Up and Range 2 spreads a wide held chord across two octaves. Gate 15% is the whole character: every note clips almost instantly into a stab.
