Digitakt II
Tracks
- T1: kick
- T2: sub (rumble)
- T3: hat-closed
- T4: hat-open
- T5: clap
- T6: perc2 (clank)
Settings
- Kick (T1): FX page OVER 70 for a clipped, transient-heavy hard-techno kick; AMP page DEC 45. All four beats at VEL 127.
- Sub/rumble (T2): steps 3, 7, 11, 15 (the offbeat between kicks); FLTR page 1 machine LOWPASS 4 (24 dB/oct) with FREQ around 70 so it is felt not heard; sidechain-style: AMP page ATK 5 so it swells after each kick.
- Hat-closed (T3): a rolling 16th pattern, VEL 70 on the even steps and 38 elsewhere, PROB 80 on the quieter ones; the sources note velocity variation is what keeps 16ths from sounding robotic.
- Hat-open (T4) on the offbeats: AMP page DEC 40. Clank (T6): steps 8 and 16, PROB 50/40.

- Sub: SYN page 1 ALGO 1, MIX -64, RATIO C 0.50; SYN page 2 Operators A & B LEV (A) 0, LEV (B) 0 (plain sine). AMP page DEC 90, SUS 0. Steps 3, 7, 11, 15.

- Clap: same noisy ALGO 1 setup as the snare (FDBK 100, LEV (A) 60), AMP page DEC 35; MOD page 1 MODE ONE, WAVE Square, SPD 60, DEST AMP: Volume, DEP 50 to retrigger a few quick pulses inside one envelope for the clap splash.
Syntakt
Tracks
- T9: kick (BD HARD)
- T10: snare (SD HARD)
- T12: hats (HH BASIC)
- T1: clap (CP VINTAGE)
- T2: sub (SY RAW)
Settings
- Kick (T9, BD HARD): SYN page SNAP 70, DEC 50, OVER 60.
- Rumble (T2, SY RAW): SYN page WAV1 Sine, TUNE low; steps 3, 7, 11, 15; AMP page ATK 5, DEC 60.
- Syntakt has only one Analog Cymbal voice (T12), so closed and open hat share it: use `HH BASIC` and lock SYN page DEC short for closed steps and long for open steps. Rolling 16ths with the quieter steps at VEL 38; open hat on the offbeats (DEC ~ 60).
- Clap (T1, CP VINTAGE): SYN page DEC 45; steps 5, 13.
Notes
Four-on-the-floor kick at 150 BPM with an offbeat sub rumble between the kicks, offbeat open hats and a rolling 16th hat line whose velocity variation carries the groove, following the descriptions of hard techno in the sources (16th rolling hats as the main driver, suffocating offbeat rumble). Original arrangement.
