Notes
Broken techno at 125 BPM. The steps follow the MIDI grid in Attack Magazine's breakdown of skippy broken techno: a kick pattern loosely drawn from 2-step garage, a stick layer on the snare just before beat 2, a clap that plays around the kicks and lands on the last beat of bar 2, two field-recorded sticks either side of the snare and clap, and offbeat hats with a filtered found-sound hat accenting the start of each bar. A vocal slice on step 9 and a low percussion hit on step 17 fill the gaps. Swing is about 60% on the sticks and clave.
